Chemical Peel
Chemical peels involve the use of a solution that causes the top layers of wrinkled or damaged skin to peel away, revealing new, healthier skin after healing.
Chemical peels are divided into three categories: light peels for superficial wrinkles, medium depth peels for moderate problems, and deep peels for severe disorders.
Obagi Blue Peel
The Obagi Blue Peel is a type of chemical peel to remove brown discolorations, shrink pores and retexturize the skin for a brighter and more youthful complexion and appearance. The chemical peel comprises the use of three active ingredients that ensures a beautiful appearance.
The Obagi Blue Peel has comparable results to the Fractional CO2 LASER resurfacing, and has minimal postoperative effects.
AHA/BHA Epidermal Peels
AHA/BHA epidermal peels make use of two main ingredients that each improve the skin in a unique and noticeable way. The AHA part of this peel refers to Alpha-hydroxy-acids which are the compounds that exfoliate the skin’s uppermost layer for a much brighter and even look.
The other component in the peel is the BHA compound, referring to Beta-hydroxy-acids. This part of the peel congests the pores.
With the continued use of the peel, the presence of fine lines also decreases on the skin, pores become smaller and areas of hyperpigmentation fade.
