Christine L. Hamilton-Hall, DMD, MD
Received her doctorate degrees from Harvard (DMD) and Columbia (MD). She is a dual board certified maxillofacial surgeon with specialty training in multiple facets of surgery including oral, maxillofacial, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery as well as anesthesia. Dr. Hamilton-Hall received her bachelor of arts degree in biology and mathematics from New College.
She obtained her postgraduate dental training from Harvard School of Dental Medicine from which she was awarded a doctorate of dental medicine (DMD). Dr. Hamilton-Hall obtained her medical school training through Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, from which she received her medical degree (MD). General Surgery and Oral Surgery internships and residencies were completed at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City (now New York Presbyterian).
Dr. Hamilton-Hall then proceeded to complete her residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and General Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and completed a fellowship in Plastic Surgery though St. Luke’s Roosevelt Medical Center. While in graduate school, Dr. Hamilton-Hall completed three full-time post-graduate fellowships simultaneously through the National Institute of Health, National Institute of Dental Research and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Hamilton-Hall has published several research and clinical manuscripts in national peer-reviewed journals and co-authored a chapter in a professional textbook. She has lectured extensively nationally and internationally on cosmetic facial surgery, bone grafting, implantology and surgical treatment of congenital deformities.
Dr. Hamilton-Hall founded Darien Cares in 1998, through which she and her team provide free, or “cost only” surgery for children with facial deformities in Fairfield County. Darien Cares also sponsors medical mission trips every year, including a 2016 trip to Shanghai China, a 2018 trip to the Atolls of Papua New Guinea (with Y.W.A.M.) and a 2019 trip to treat the orphaned and rural children outside of DaNang Vietnam (with East Meets West Dental). She and members of her staff have also traveled to Belize twice to perform surgery and treat the Mayan people.
Dr. Hamilton-Hall founded the Aesthetic and Maxillofacial Surgery Center, PC in 1996 and the surgery center was accredited by the Joint Commission of Hospital Accreditations in 2004. Dr. Hamilton-Hall currently specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic facial surgery and performs surgical procedures in the skin and subcutaneous tissues of the rest of the body. Dr. Hamilton-Hall is licensed to practice medicine and dentistry both in New York and Connecticut. Dr. Hamilton-Hall is board certified in Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Anesthesiology. Dr. Hamilton-Hall is an attending and assistant professor at Columbia University, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center / New York Presbyterian Hospital and Stamford Hospital.
